OUR BEGINNINGS WERE HUMBLE
Handyjack was formed in 2018 by Stephen Jackson to meet a specific home repair need in the north Seattle area. There simply aren't enough handymen out there with the experience and skill needed to do the job right. Not having the resources available to take care of these repairs can cause unnecessary stress on homeowners. Stephen realized he was capable of providing a valuable service to the community and Handyjack was born.
Mission
The mission of Handyjack is to serve the local community by providing the highest quality work and service possible at a reasonable and fair price.

Originally from Arizona, I spent 10 years in the United States Air Force stationed in Montana working as an Electro-mechanical Technician working on ICBM nuclear missiles. During this time, I obtained a CCAF (Community College of the Air Force) Associates Degree in Electronic Systems Technology and worked towards obtaining my undergraduate. I spent my spare time working on my 1969 Ford Mustang and doing extensive remodeling projects around the house. This is where I found a passion for carpentry and doing home repair.
In 2015, I separated from the Air Force and moved to Seattle to continue my education. I worked as a carpenter for the same company in Magnolia for 3 years while attending school full-time. The majority of my experience during this time was in remodeling kitchens and bathrooms, and converting basements into livable spaces. I graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration from Seattle Pacific University in 2018. Right after graduation, I officially launched Handyjack and became a handyman full-time.
I continued to work as a handyman full-time in Seattle, WA for 2 years until I was started a full-time position at Boeing in Everett, WA. I continued to work part-time as a handyman while taking on smaller jobs and the occasional bathroom remodel. I personally get a lot out of helping people out and making their living space better. I plan on doing handyman work for the next several years as long as I am physically able to do the work! I'm looking forward to hearing from you and understanding more about your home repair needs.
Thanks for reading and have a great day!
